(obligatory (very awesome) car picture)
Up late studying?? Have an urge for a late night snack but everything is closed?? Have a microwave, some basic ingredients, a pan, and 5.5 minutes?? Well you're in luck!! i just so happen to have just the thing for you. Introducing my greatest gift to humanity: the 5 minute brownie.
THE RECIPE
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1 stick of butter (melted)
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
choc chips (optional)
THE PROCEDURE
add dry ingredients into mixing bowl.
add everything else
mix it up
pour into 8"x8" brownie pan (Edit: non-metal. i use a glass/pyrex one)
cook in microwave on high 4:25-5:00 (depending on level of dougheyness desired)
eat
These can be made in the dorms (ive done it twice this week) and to maximize friend making potential open your door and have a fan blow the delicious scent of fresh brownies into your hall. Your neighbors will thank you. Also you will be a boss for being able to know how to make something SO GOOD from scratch.

Usually microwave brownies are made in coffee mugs I believe. But yes, pans are usually metal. Celebrate your new friends with fireworks!
